Aisha Brady: LMSW, PMH

Aisha Brady (She/Her/Hers) helps clients find simple solutions to complex problems. As a therapist, she has a passion for working with women and young adults. Drawing from her own experiences through motherhood and extensive professional training, Aisha specializes in helping mothers deal with pregnancy-related mental health issues such as postpartum depression and anxiety. She is the author of the book, Nurturing Mom: A Guide to Managing Anxiety, Rediscovering Identity, and Embracing the Journey of Motherhood. One of Aisha's other specialties is to help teens and twenty-somethings become healthy and independent adults. For both these groups, Aisha helps her clients shed societal expectations to develop self-confidence to create the life of their dreams.
Aisha earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Buffalo State College and a Master of Social Work from Adelphi University. Of Puerto Rican descent, Aisha speaks Spanish fluently and is a bilingual therapist. She utilizes a multi-systemic approach to meet the needs of her clients.
Aisha is passionate about social issues that affect the indigenous populations as well as the underprivileged children and families within our communities. She has experience with outpatient clinical therapy, hospital-based services, and school-based therapy services. She is an active member of the NASW and Georgia Chapter.
Aisha has also completed the Rutgers Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training and is Certified in FirstAide/CPR/AED.
