Alexis Lowery

Alexis Lowery (She/Her) obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University, and now works as a neurofeedback technician at Marietta West Cobb Counseling Center. She also researches substance use disorder in the Neuropsychology of Emerging Adulthood, Addiction, Recovery, and Related Disorders (NEAARRD) Lab at KSU as a graduate research assistant.
Currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Applied Statistics and Analytics, Alexis applies her skills to neuroscience and behavioral research. Her interests include measuring behaviors and identifying changes in brain imaging.
Alexis has extensive experience in each step of the psychological research process. She presented several projects at Kennesaw State University’s Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 Analytics Day research competitions, as well as at the 2022 Georgia Psychological Association Conference in Athens, GA.
Alexis currently holds several certifications granted by the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Program including:
Social and Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research,
Students Conducting No More Than Minimal Risk Research,
Social, Behavioral, and Educational Research with Human Subjects
