Nicole Maxwell: Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Nicole Maxwell (She/Her/Hers) is in the process of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor and is doing her practicum and internship at Marietta West Cobb Counseling Center. She is currently working on her Master of Arts in Counseling: Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree.

Nicole enjoys working with clients in order for them to reach their goals and approach true happiness and mental awareness. She approaches each client with a view of them as a whole, as the psyche is made up of people’s experiences, thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. Working with clients to make positive change is a true passion for Nicole.

With a background in education, Nicole has used her work with adolescents as her inspiration for wanting to help others. Nicole is passionate about advocating for mental health awareness and looks forward to working to help the community. She is very excited about and eager to become a Clinical Mental Health Counselor.

Nicole is working under the supervision of Terri Abraham, MS, LPC, NCC, MAC, CPCS.
