  • Do you feel like, while you may be struggling with a mental health issue, a good part of your problem is that you don't fit in your family? Your culture?
  • Are you struggling to figure out who you are?
  • Are you struggling to help your child find their way?
  • Do you wish you could bring the joy back into your relationships?

If so, then Yashman Greene (she/her/hers) may be the therapist for you. Yashman is an associate licensed Marriage and Family therapist with over nine years' post-graduate experience working with individuals who have:

  • Developmental disabilities
  • Autism spectrum disorders
  • ADHD
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Post-traumatic stress
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Sexual orientation questions
  • Gender identity disorders
  • Substance abuse.

In addition, Yashman has helped couples and families who are struggling with relationship problems and unhealthy family dynamics.

Yashman notes that through her years of experience "I have learned and grown to understand my fellow humankind -  what drives certain behaviors and thinking, and how to develop ways to make cognitive and systematic changes to help shape, grow, and adjust to the ever-changing dynamics, stressors, and transitions in this crazy game of life." As a Marriage and Family therapist Yashman considers the client's individuality and their place within their environment. She aims to help individuals discover and nurture what she likes to call, their "Best Me." In helping a person become their Best Me she takes a holistic/ person centered approach, creating a non-judgmental and safe space, meeting the person where they are at in their process, and strengthening self-awareness, emotional management, and communication to help individuals, couples, and families achieve their desired goals.

Yashman is trained in many cutting-edge techniques such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion-focused therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and play therapy interventions when appropriate, often taking an integrated approach that best matches the person/family/couples needs.
Yashman is passionate about helping LGBTQ+ individuals and couples work through both internal and external factors that cause distress, social injustices, relational issues, and supporting and empowering the ability to live out loud and being true to themselves. She also has a passion around helping transitioning teens to young adults learn and gain tools to support a healthy development and transition into adulthood.
